VEGAS GAMES INC.
Third-Party Technology Policy
Effective Date: June 3, 2020
This Third-Party Technology Policy explains how Vegas Games Inc. (“VGI,” “we,” and “us”) uses cookies and other third-party technologies in connection with the VGI products, services, mobile applications, and websites (collectively, the “Services”) accompanying or otherwise covered by this Third-Party Technology Policy. By using and/or otherwise accessing our products, services, mobile applications, and/or websites, VGI may collect information that can be used to identify and/or that otherwise concerns you (i.e., personal information and non-personal information). In the event that you would like to learn more about VGI’s policies regarding your information (e.g., collection, storage, use, transfer, disclosure, etc.), then you should review our Privacy Policy
As described in our Privacy Policy, VGI uses cookies and other technologies to personalize, customize and improve our products, services, mobile applications, websites and related content, and our promotional and marketing efforts and related materials, and the overall experiences of our users. For example, our ability to protect your account, to allow you to set and maintain certain settings and/or preferences, and/or to assist you with making purchases, can be facilitated and affected by cookies. This Third-Party Technology Policy (which is incorporated into our Privacy Policy), our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service (of which our Privacy Policy is also a part) applies when you access and/or otherwise use any of VGI’s Services that are accompanied by this Third-Party Technology Policy, that are linked to this Third-Party Technology Policy, and/or that are otherwise covered by this Third-Party Technology Policy. By continuing to use our Services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Third-Party Technology Policy, and explicitly signify your acceptance of our policies regarding cookies and other such technologies.
What are Cookies
A “cookie” is a small file that is stored on your computer, phone, tablet, or other device that you use to access the Services. Cookies allow us to identify you, to obtain certain information regarding you, your computer or device, your browser, your use of the Services, and to facilitate your experiences in connection with the Services. Cookies also provide an efficient means for collecting and storing information, and are often used by third-party products, services, mobile applications, websites, and other content. Cookies may be set by us, or by a third party, including, without limitation, social networking sites and third-party advertisers.
VGI uses cookies and other similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) in connection with our Services, including, without limitation, in connection with our interactive entertainment applications and our website. The Services may provide you with the option to control or otherwise adjust your settings that are applicable to cookies. However, please be aware that if you disable cookies in your settings, certain features of the Services may no longer function, and you may lose access to certain features that are otherwise offered as part of the Services.
Categories of Cookies
There are four main types of cookies (i.e., those that are necessary for proper functioning and updating, those that monitor and improve performance, those that monitor and manage functionality, and those that present and monitor advertising), and there are technologies that are similar to cookies and that may be used by us in connection with our Services. Cookies may also be set by third parties, including, but not limited to, third-party social networking sites. To see a list of the specific cookies that our Services may contain, please see the list referenced towards the end of this Third-Party Technology Policy.
“Necessary” cookies are used so that our Services function properly and so that you can navigate our Services and access and use the features and functionalities that are part of our Services. By way of example, such cookies enable you to access and use your account, to make purchases, and to display proper pricing and availability.
“Performance” cookies assist us with our analytics by collecting and aggregating information related to your use and experiences while you are engaged with our Services. For example, these types of cookies provide information regarding how you access and use our Services, and, for example, the various web pages that you visit in connection with our Services. We may receive assistance from third parties regarding such aspects of our Services and such cookies often include both first-party cookies as well as third-party cookies.
“Functionality” cookies assist us with managing certain features and functionalities that relate to our Services. For example, these types of cookies would assist us with personalizing the Services to your individual tastes, as well as help us with customer support, feedback, and providing surveys and contests. Again, we may receive assistance from third parties regarding such aspects of our Services and therefore such cookies often include both first-party cookies as well as third-party cookies.
“Advertising” cookies provide assistance with advertising, including, for example, displaying and managing advertisements in connection with the Services, monitoring and analyzing users’ engagements with such advertising, as well as creating and aggregating user profiles and related information in order to help facilitate and provide guidance with respect to displaying advertisements. With regards to advertising cookies, we mostly use third-party cookies.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a user-selected web browser setting that communicates an end user’s request to have a web-based application disable the capability to track such individual’s activities and engagements. When you choose to turn on the DNT setting in your browser, your browser sends an indicator to websites, analytics companies, ad networks, plug-in providers, and other web services to stop tracking your activities while you are browsing on the Internet. Currently, no universal standard has been adopted with respect to DNT, and therefore VGI’s Services may not respond to applicable “do not track” settings. Please be advised that we adhere to the standards and related procedures set out in our Privacy Policy. In the event that you would like to learn more about Do Not Track, please review http://www.allaboutdnt.com/
Managing Cookies
Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. We hope that our users are aware that they can adjust the settings of their particular web browser in order to indicate whether they would like to accept cookies or not, and to delete or erase cookies, all as determined and selected by each respective end user. Furthermore, the makers of your mobile or non-mobile device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, etc.) may also provide you with options for managing certain settings that affect cookies and/or targeted advertising. Each respective browser publisher and device manufacturer have likely designed their own unique settings in connection with such options, and therefore the website for such publisher and/or manufacturer oftentimes present instructions for changing and managing such settings. These settings may also allow you to limit the type of cookies that you allow on your browser and/or device. Please also be aware that flash cookies operate differently than browser cookies. Consequently, cookie management tools that are made available in a particular web browser may not be effective in removing flash cookies. To learn more about managing flash cookies, we recommend that you visit adobe.com and make the appropriate changes to your privacy settings. However, please be aware that if you disable cookies in connection with our Services, then certain features or functionalities that are offered as part of the Services may not work as originally designed and intended, and you may lose access to certain portions of the Services, or to certain features or functionalities, that are offered as part of the Services. This is because the cookies that are used by Vegas Games are important technologies that allow us to monitor your activities when you elect to use the Services, which information is, in turn, used by us to monitor users’ engagements and to make improvements to the Services, to make updates and other modifications to the Services, and to enhance end users’ experiences when using the Services. For further information, please review the following:
This Third-Party Technology Policy does not apply to, and VGI does not control, any and all cookies and other similar technologies that are distributed and otherwise used by third parties (e.g., third-party advertisers, etc.). Consequently, we highly recommend that our users seek out and review the applicable third-party privacy policy and third-party cookie policy (as applicable) in order to be informed about any applicable third-party cookies and how to manage such cookies and other third-party technologies.
Permission to Use Cookies
By using the Services you specifically agree, and will be deemed to have indicated your express consent, to receive cookies (unless, and then only to the extent that, you choose to manage your options and individual choices regarding cookies by one of the means set out above).
Cookies List
Please be advised that the Services may contain, without limitation, the following third-party cookies. Please use the links referenced below in order to obtain information regarding the particular privacy policies and opt-out choices offered by such third-party service providers. Please also see above for further options that are available for managing cookies.

VGI may amend and/or otherwise modify this Third-Party Technology Policy at any time and from time to time, at its sole discretion, and we will post an amended and updated version of the Third-Party Technology Policy on our website (www.vegasgames.com). In the event that significant changes are made to this Third-Party Technology Policy, then we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., through email, by posting on our corporate website, etc.). However, please be advised that you should regularly check VGI’s website for any amendments or other modifications to our Third-Party Technology Policy so that you will be familiar with the then-effective terms and conditions of our Third-Party Technology Policy. If any such future changes to our Third-Party Technology Policy are unacceptable to you, you should immediately cease using the Services. Your election to continue to access, or to download, install and/or use any of our Services, following notice that VGI has made changes to this Third-Party Technology Policy, shall constitute and shall be deemed to indicate your acceptance of any and all such changes to any of the provisions of this Third-Party Technology Policy.
